Pam McKissick and Cheryl Gregory have been writers and partners for 28 years. Their writing careers began in L.A. where they developed, wrote and optioned television movies and theatricals. After moving back to the Midwest, they wrote six lesbian mysteries and romances under the noms de plume Andrews & Austin. They’ve also written a non-fiction book on selling your home.

The two women have had successful business careers in entertainment, television, radio and real estate. Their experiences crystalized for them the way in which our society mobilizes money, power and sex to keep women, both straight and lesbian, on a short leash. This unbalanced energy between females and males has made McKissick & Gregory outspoken advocates for women and equality. They’ve created Bossmaresart.com “where women’s equality converges with equine art.” (A boss mare is an older, wiser, female horse with the most common sense.)

Pam and Cheryl live on a horse ranch in the Midwest with Cheryl’s delightful mom and an assortment of horses, dogs and cats. When not writing, Pam paints horses and Cheryl manages their ranch. Both women ride their Icelandic horses every chance they get!
