With her first poetry collection, Undone, Elizabeth (E.M.) Hodge received the Golden Crown Literary Award for poetry (2015) as well as garnering both an Honorable Mention for LGBT Poetry and a Runner-up for Cover Art from the Rainbow Awards. She received a nomination for a Lambda Award in poetry as well.
Elizabeth, a holds degrees in Philosophy, Women's Studies, and Philosophy. A former Philosophy professor, she currently spends her time writing poetry and short fiction. Additionally, Elizabeth edits short story anthologies for Sapphire Books. Past publications include submissions in the Ohio Journal of Poetry, Common Threads 2015, The Stars in Our Hearts poetry anthology 2013, and awards for multiple poems. Other publications, outside of poetry, include a short story in Slate Magazine, philosophical journal articles and book reviews.
Her first novel, part of science fiction trilogy will be forthcoming in 2017 as well.
Elizabeth, a geekynerdyfangirl, has an affinity for Doctor Who, all things science fiction, physics, and existential literature as well as penchant detective novels with female protagonists.
