Caro Clarke
Author
Caro Clarke is a Canadian living in the UK. She moved around every few years, as a child, from oil-town to oil-town, until the family settled in Calgary. From there, she followed an academic career until she ended up in England.
Having had all the fun of academia (mediaeval history -- go serfs!), she decided it was time for something new, mostly because she had fallen in love, and so she followed Her to London. Best decision ever.
She went through a variety of jobs: small independent publishing, carpenter, a short time in a bookshop, a shorter time as a bodyguard, freelance editor, copy-writing and, finally, designing and running websites, mostly for massive global companies.
Her first published novel was THE WOLF TICKET. She has written short stories for anthologies, and publishes poetry under a different name.
Caro has traveled extensively, including Antarctica, the Gobi, Iceland, southern Russia, and Patagonia. If it involves a desert, the sea, or needing oxygen, she wants to go. But London remains her home and favorite destination.
